Mall of the Emirates
Mall of the Emirates is a shopping mall which was opened in November 2005 and it developed & owned by Majid Al Futtaim Properties and located in Dubai at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed Road. The multi-level shopping center currently features more than 560 international brands, more than 700 stores, 11 anchor stores with a total gross leasable area (GLA) of 234,479 sqm including department stores, fashion, lifestyle, sports, electronics and home furnishing outlets. The family leisure includes Ski Dubai – the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort and snow park, DUCTAC- the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and more than 90 international dining and cafes. Ibn Batuta Mall
The Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping mall on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai close to Interchange 6 for Jebel Ali Village. Having more than 270 shops, 50 restaurants, a 21-screen cinema and over 4,500 parking spaces on a total of 521,000 square meters, Ibn Battuta is the world’s largest themed shopping mall. On May 26 2013 Nakheel announced the tender for Ibn Battuta Mall expansion – a new, 28,000 square meter retail hub for another 150 shops. Dubai World Trade Centre
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is a business complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, built by Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It is located along Sheikh Zayed Road at the Trade Centre Roundabout. The complex comprises the original tower (built in 1978), eight exhibition halls, the Dubai International Convention Centre and residential apartments. The 39-storey office tower stands 149 metres (489 feet) tall and a majority of the floors are let commercially. Burj Khalifa
It is the tallest man-made structure in the world, standing at 829.8 m (2,722 ft). Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. The building officially opened on 4 January 2010, and is part of the new 2 km2 (490-acre) development called Downtown Dubai at the ‘First Interchange’ along Sheikh Zayed Road, near Dubai’s main business district. Burj Khalifa was designed to be the centerpiece of a large-scale, mixed-use development that would include 30,000 homes, nine hotels (including The Address Downtown Dubai), 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of parkland, at least 19 residential towers, the Dubai Mall, and the 12-hectare (30-acre) man-made Burj Khalifa Lake. The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest shopping mall based on total area and fourteenth largest by gross leasable area.Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E), it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown Dubai complex, and includes 1,200 shops. Access to the mall is provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in April 2009. Jumeirah Beach
Jumeirah Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai. It stretches along the coast south of the city’s historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. Horse Racing
Meydan Racecourse is a horse racing facility located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It opened on March 27, 2010, replacing Nad Al Sheba Racecourse which formerly occupied the same site. It is able to accommodate over 60,000 spectators in a 1 mile long grandstand. When not used for races it will serve as a business and conference integrated facility. A horse racing museum and gallery are also planned. The development also includes an 9-hole golf course. The 7.5 million sq. m Meydan Racecourse includes Meydan Marina, The Meydan — the world’s first 5-star trackside hotel with 285 rooms, 2 race tracks and the Grandstand, which comprises a hotel, restaurants, a racing museum and 72 corporate suites for entertaining throughout the year. Burj Al Arab & Wild Wadi
The Wild Wadi Water Park is an outdoor water park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Situated in the area of Jumeirah, next to the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the water park is operated by Jumeirah International, a Dubai-based hotelier. Wild Wadi has a heated/cooled wave pool, multiple water slides and two artificial surfing machines. In addition, the park had the largest water slide outside of North America, but recently it was removed to make space for two other rides . Another feature of the park is an 18 m (59 ft) waterfall that goes off every ten minutes. The water park also has two gift shops, three restaurants and two snack stands. It was featured in The Amazing Race 5 and The Amazing Race Asia 1, in which teams had to slide down a 21 m (69 ft) drop. It was later featured in The Amazing Race Australia 2, but instead, the teams had to ride the Surf Machine and use boogie boards to surf their way to the end where they will get their next clue. The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in the district of Dubailand, Dubai. The garden was launched on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The garden spread over 72,000 square meters making it the world's largest natural flower garden featuring over 109 million flowers planted. In April 2015, the garden was awarded the Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences of the year by the Garden Tourism Award 2015.
